In this session you will have a shared experience with the herd. The horses will be free to move as they choose as we work on cultivating presence and expansion of our emotional bodies through breathwork and grounding. Both human and horse are given the space to be their authentic selves. You are welcome here to interact with the horses or just share space with them, this is ultimately up to you and the horse.
Horses are very special for this work in many ways. What I have experienced along the way is that we as humans spend much of our time in our minds living a present experience that is based on our past and future worries. Alternatively horses spend much of their time, unless they are forging or moving away from a fight/flight situation, in a present and embodied coherent state. I have found that many people have the ability to become very present, grounded and emotional while connecting with the horses. Horses have a very strong emotional presence and heart space, when we are around them we are in a way brought to their level and when we are in our emotional bodies and not our brains we all of a sudden can feel very grounded, present and emotions can come up that we tend to stuff down.
This is where the magic happens, these sessions have a general outline but everything in between is unscripted
In these sessions there are multiple breath work disciplines that can be used: heart coherence, carbon dioxide tolerance, wimhof/over breathing, and more. These sessions will weave together guided meditation, intention setting while focusing on conscious breathing. Breathing is something we all do, and is direct way to get into a present state. When we consciously breathe we immediately come back into our body and the present state from generally the future and past stress and worries we experience. You will learn different types of breath in these sessions which at any moment of your day you can use to shift into a present state.
We will use meditation and intention setting along with breath work to start to create things you want to bring into your life. Visualizing and embodying what you want your life to be is a very powerful tool and experiencing this around the herd can really bring many things to fruition for you.
Stepping into the ice is a beautiful way to take a hold of your nervous system and not let it run away with you. We will focus on breath work and intention setting here as you are walked through stepping into the ice. Intentional cold exposure has many benefits that are both emotional and physical. Your body’s first instinct is to go into fight or flight mode when stepping into the cold. By cultivating presence through the breath you will be able to override this instinct and calmy surrender to the cold. This has affects long after you are out of the ice. You will start to notice that external situations which used to ramp up an emotional response from your nervous system no longer have the same effect. By consciously putting your body into fight or flight you are able to cultivate the tools necessary to move into a parasympathetic (rest/relax) state. There are a tremendous about of physical benefits as well including: lowering inflammation and releasing dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine (wimhofmethod.com).

If you would like to deepen the connection or create a connection with your horse I offer sessions where I travel to you, or you can come to me to learn tools to bring home. Connecting with our horses starts with ourselves and how we show up in life and on any given day. I will connect with you and what you are currently experience and also just observe how you interact with your horse (If I travel to you).
From there you will experience most of our offerings including:breath work, meditation, and cold plunger (if you choose). By looking at ourselves and who we are it always amazes me how our relationships, both horse and human, can shift around us.
